Our heart at RE: conference is to serve the needs of foster, adoptive and kinship parents in your congregation and community and we want YOU to be a part of that, here are some ways churches can participate:

Set up a scholarship or discount you can offer to members of your church. You determine the amount and quantity of scholarship you would like to provide.  We will provide you with a personal code you can offer to those families you want to send.  Then we will send you an invoice along with a list of people in your congregation who took advantage of this opportunity.

Find out what the obstacles are. For many of these families this just means childcare.  A couple ideas to consider:
1) provide childcare at your location
2) equip small groups to rally and provide in-home care for the children
3) give families a childcare stipend so they can pay a sitter. Make it easy for them to come!

We have hundreds of volunteers who manage all the details and we could always use more hands.  Imagine how loved your attendees would feel seeing a familiar face serving! Our goal is to not have foster and adoptive families serving. This weekend is FOR them.

We would welcome your financial sponsorship and while this is a valuable way to support the event we feel it is secondary to numbers one & two above.

Our goal is that every foster, adoptive and kinship parent knows their church is behind them, supporting them and is willing to connect them with the training, resources and encouragement they need for this journey.
